Dear Dr Grieve,

It would be helpful if you could respond to the following points.

Are you now a Crown Office pathologist and was this your status when you performed the autopsy on Robert David Greig?

Although I find it highly improbable that you were aware of the powerful motive that existed for Mr Greig to be murdered, is it not the case that suicide by fire is extremely rare, yet arson, which is used to cover up other crimes and destroy evidence, is relatively common.

If you agree with this assessment, regardless of the motive that has since been revealed, why was a full inquest not requested?

Your prompt response would be appreciated in helping to bring this and other related cases to a just conclusion.
